2012 Summer Camps!

Miss Brooke’s Little Sticky Fingers:
For entering K-3 and K-4, these camps will work on fine motor, gross motor, and social skills needed for preschool! Kids will cut, color, build, play, and sing as we get ready for pre-K!

Will meet on Tuesdays from 1:00-2:30
Dates: June 5, 12, 19, 26, July 10, 17, 24, 31.
Cost: Any 4 sessions $150, Any 6 sessions $198, All 8 sessions $240

Kindergarten Kick-off!
For entering Kindergartners and older 4’s, we are super excited about our new kindergarten readiness camp! Based on the award winning “Get Set for School” curriculum from Handwriting Without Tears, kids will use fun multi-sensory, hands-on materials and lessons to build math, reading, and writing skills needed for kindergarten!

Session 1: June 18-21, June 25-28 from 9:30-11:30.
Session 2: July 23-26, July 30-Aug. 2 from 9:30-11:30.

Cost: $295

*Older four year olds can participate in Little Sticky Fingers OR Kindergarten Kickoff. In order to attend Kindergarten Kickoff, child should be at least 4 ½ years old. For younger 4s OR any 4’s who need more fine motor skill development Sticky Fingers is the camp for them!

Printing Power!
For entering first and second graders, this camp will include games, music, crafts, and multi-sensory activities to improve pencil grip, letter formation, line placement, and sentence skills. Who knew handwriting could be so much fun! We will use the award winning Handwriting Without Tears curriculum.

Session 1: June 4 – June 7, June 11-14 from 9:30-11:30
Session 2: July 9 – 12, July 16 – 19 from 9:30-11:30

Cost: $295

Friendship Factory
Social Skills groups to learn important life skills such as sharing, turn taking, personal space, and conflict resolution.

Entering K-4 and K-5 will meet on Mondays from 1:00-2:30
Dates: June 4, 11, 18, 25, July 9, 16, 23, 30

Entering 1st through 3rd graders will meet on Wednesdays from 1:00-2:30
Dates: June 6, 13, 20, 27, July 11, 18, 25, and August 1

Cost: Any 4 sessions $150, Any 6 sessions $198, All 8 sessions $240

 

**Children must be able to participate independently in a small group in order to attend summer camps. 1:1 assistance will not be available. For children who need more assistance, individual therapy is recommended.
