SUMMER CAMPS
2009 Summer Camps:
“Move, Talk, Play, and Learn”
This action packed camp is for children age 3-6 and will focus on motor skills, social skills, and language development.
Children will participate in games, music, crafts, and gross and fine motor activities selected to enhance their development. “Move, Talk, Play, and Learn” will be directed by a speech pathologist and an occupational therapist. Children must be able to function independently in a small group setting and must be potty trained.
“Child’sPlay Superstars”
Introducing our brand new camp for children ages 7-10! This camp will feature art, music, drama, and science activities all designed to improve social skills, motor development, and language skills, while developing a love and appreciation for arts and sciences! “Child’sPlay Superstars” will be lead by an occupational therapist and a speech pathologist. Children must be able to function independently in a small group setting.
"Pencil Partners Handwriting Clubs"
These exciting clubs will emphasize fine motor development, correct grip, and letter formation skills. Children will participate in games, crafts, and multi-sensory writing activities that make learning to write engaging and entertaining! Handwriting Clubs are directed by an occupational therapist.

Mondays 1:30-3:00
June 1 -July 27 (no club on June 29)

Tuesdays 1:30-3:00
June 2 - July 28 (no club on June 30)

"Cursive Club"
Wednesdays 1:30-3:00
June 3 - July 29 (no club on July 1)

Note: For all handwriting clubs, children must be able to function independently in a small group setting.
“Fun Factory!”
Fun Factory is another new camp offered this year for children ages 4-11 who need more adult assistance. Parents will remain with their child or provide an adult assistant age 19 or older who will be responsible for their child.
Fun Factory will feature games, crafts, music, and literacy activities designed to encourage group participation, social engagement, motor development, and language development. Fun Factory will be lead each day by either a speech pathologist or an occupational therapist.
